Gold Refineries in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is the city of dreams and the entertainment capital of the world. This city has many distinctions: it is the largest manufacturing center in the United States, a major tech hub, and, of course, home to huge entertainment and trading businesses. All of this generates a gross product of US$1 trillion. Yet, when it comes to gold refineries in Los Angeles, there’s not much to talk about.
Looking for the best gold refinery?
Why Los Angeles Businesses Choose Core Scientific
L.A. has a long record with gold. Even before the famous Gold Rush in California, gold mining was already established in Los Angeles County, and for many years, it was the area’s most valuable commodity. This close relationship with gold continues to thrive today.
We know working with a local gold refinery in L.A. can feel safer, but it isn’t. Working with a leading gold refinery like Core Scientific is safer because we meet higher security standards, and it’s more convenient because we offer better payments.
Gold Refining Services for Los Angeles Businesses
We’re a trusted gold refinery amongst Los Angeles businesses because we can handle valuable scrap. We work with jewelers, pawn shops, gold buyers, dental practices, dental labs, dental service organizations, and crematories. Our team processes qualifying materials containing gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. Businesses can use our scrap gold calculator to estimate potential gold value before discussing their materials with us.
How Core Scientific’s Gold Refining Process Works
Start by requesting a container and sending your qualifying materials to Core Scientific. Our team uses in-house melting, sampling, and assay methods to measure precious metal content. Through our 24/7 customer portal, you can review material tracking, photos, weights, assay reports, and settlement history.

I was introduced to this company at the California Dental Association conference and decided to try them out and send them my scrap metal. The process was very easy and I was surprised by how responsive they are to any phone calls, emails, or texts. I am happy with the check they sent me, so I will use them again in the future.

It took a few years to find Core Scientific, but now all my scrap metal goes there. They do true assays and pay a great price. Not like the "fly by night tourists" who drop in to eyeball ones scrap and pretend paying cash makes up for the low payout.

We have been using Core Scientific for the last 3 years. We have had other companies come in and give us estimates of what they would give for scraps we have, then we have sent that scrap into Core, and the melt down price has exceeded what in office companies would give us. Very happy with their service.

I was a little bit of a rocky start because they were having some problems with emails being sent to the spam folder, but once we got things started my primary contact, Warren, was always timely with answering any questions I had, and the payout was easily 2 times what a middle man would have given.10/10 would recommend

I used them for our dental office scrap metal. I called and the sent collection jar and emailed me a shipping label. Once I sent it in, they had a system set up to make an account and I was able to follow along on the portal. I had used a middle man in the past and although I am not an expert in the precious metals, the amount of scrap was roughly the same as before but I got about 4x what I was paid last time. I will be saving up more scrap and using them again in the future.

We have a small jewelry shop in Michigan. Prior to starting our relationship with Core Scientific we did not have a refiner that dealt with gold-filled/gold plated items. Very happy to have the ability to give our customers something for GF jewelry items now. They also do a great job with sweeps and things.

Thank you "all "at Core Scientific for ALL you did for me. Quality people and organization. I am 100% satisfied and happy. I wish you all the bestWell, my first review above was 100% right on. 100%!! Really. I have recently used their services again. And again, they were awesome. I cannot stress that enough. They helped every step of the way. I forgot to mention previously that they send you a report of exactly what metals are present, the amount, and the breakdown of what each metal price is worth. They are honest, helpful, and just plain old "Good People". So much so it feels like you are dealing with family. That is kind of rare in the world today. Thank you ALL at Core Scientific. Your kindness and professionalism are recognized and very much appreciated. I hope to deal with you again. Let me know if you ever come out my way again. Thank you again!
